GYM REOPENS JUNE 1! 
Some things have changed to keep everyone safe and comply with phase 2 of the Governor's reopening plan. We can resume coach-led classes at 75% capacity.

How class logistics have changed:

  • Class sizes are limited to 12 people. 
  • Everyone will have a taped-off 8 x 12 square to work inside, this provides plenty of space to work out properly socially distanced.
  • Each class will be designed with set equipment; there will be minimal equipment sharing. If any equipment requires switching/sharing during a class, there will be a structured “rest” period to sanitize equipment before switching. 
  • Everyone stays in their square the whole class.
  • Cancellation policy is now 24 hours because limited gym space means these spots are that much more coveted. 

How the schedule has changed:
  • All time slots are now 90 minutes long, including classes. 
  • Classes are still one-hour long BUT...
  • We've allotted a 30 minute buffer--15 minutes for you to cool down and clean your station, and 15 minutes for TMP coaches to clean door handles/equipment/bathrooms, etc. Please be courteous of this.
  • Open gym time slots will not overlap. For example, if you reserve a spot Monday morning at 7:30am Open Gym/Workout of the Day and show up at 8, you'll have about 45 minutes to work out and clean your equipment so TMP has their time to make sure everything is sanitized for the next group.
  • We are ONLY offering 'normal' fully instructed class at 6am, Noon and 5:30pm for the time-being, BUT...
  • We've added ‘Workout of the Day/OPEN GYM’ time slots. During these times, ‘class’ in your 'personal 8 x 12 square’, will be set-up for you to come in and take class on your own accord. A white-board with the an easy-to-understand format of class will be available for you. This is not instructor led, but coaches will be able to answer questions. (Please be on time, the same rules of overlap apply here too).

Other new logistical changes (also worth reading, guess we should have suggested you grab a snack):
  • Bring your own water bottle, bring your own shoes.  WE NO LONGER ALLOW STORING ANYTHING AT THE GYM. FOR NOW, NO SHOES, WATER BOTTLES, ETC CAN BE LEFT AT THE GYM.
  • ONLY ONE PERSON ALLOWED IN BATHROOMS AT A TIME. 
  • Please change in advance of arriving. We prefer people change at home (or work), NOT AT THE GYM.
  • SHOWERS ARE CLOSED!
  • SITTING AREAS IN GYM ARE CLOSED. (Does is sound like we are YELLING, we are not YELLING).
  • WE PREFER YOU WARMUP IN ADVANCE OF COMING TO THE GYM, OR WARMUP JOGGING OUTSIDE.
  • SORRY, NO KIDS AT GYM DURING THIS TIME.
  • WE WILL ASK EACH MEMBER TO WASH HANDS PRIOR TO WORKING OUT, AND AFTER. WE WILL ALSO OFFER HAND SANITIZER.
  • WE WILL ASK MEMBERS TO BLEACH SPRAY SANITIZE ALL THEIR EQUIP USED AFTER WORKING OUT.
  • IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN MAT, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO BRING AND USE IT!
  • TMP STAFF WILL WEAR MASKS WHILE WORKING AT THE GYM.
  • TMP STAFF WILL SANITIZE THE GYM REGULARLY THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
  • Mike will continue to wear pink spandex, steal all the snacks and perfect his mullet. :)
